"Looks great from outside, and very welcoming from the start. The rooms are clean and spacious with great quirky decor and a very comfortable bed. We used the bar and restaurant during our stay and found the food very good and the service excellent. Staff were friendly, and the breakfast was tasty with lots of choice. "Wonderful stay in a lovely old building, very good big room. Stairs were interesting but as they were several hundred years old and the staff were good in helping with our bags it added to the fun!"

"This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and we were very delighted with the stay in the most part. The room was huge and felt like a mini flat with a sitting area and coffee area in addition to the bedroom and bathroom. 2 TVs and mini fridge were a nice add on, and the toiletries were a nice touch. Bed was comfy and blackout blinds made sleeping very easy. Unfortunately, the shower left a little to be desired as the shower head was initially cracked open at the seam and the nozzles...
