"It was lovely. Room nice and clean. Staff were brilliant. Only issue I had was someone was locked out of there room and wasn’t quiet about it. And just before 11 my key stopped working, luckily there was a cleaner to let me in and grab my bags "

"Rooms good although with no control over heating i could find and see. came on late at night. Good location nit too far from centre and lovely views across to the bay. Standard greene king food good quality and options I would use again and good value "

"Stayed at hotel for 2 nights to visit friends. Our hosts Pete and Elliot went out their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Would be more than happy to recommend and would definitely book again. Room spotless and breakfast delicious. "

"Don't be put off any the tired exterior of Grove House. The apartment is well presented, well equipped though you must be prepared to climb 38 steps to get to this attic location. The upside is breathtaking views of the sea. Low star for communication is that although owner lives in ground floor there is no attempt to make personal contact. Odd."

"We had a wonderful stay in Toward. The location of the cottage is idyllic, and it was sometimes hard to do anything other than watch the water and the birds and ships passing by. "I only booked for one night as a stop over for a longer journey North but would not have been disappointed if we had been here for longer. Fantastic food for both dinner and breakfast, staff friendly and helpful and clean and comfortable rooms. Fantastic location with Loch views. Very dog friendly with treats and bowls provided in the room. Luna loved her doggy sausage breakfast. Would stay here again. "
