"Archie’s cabin is comfy, clean, and charming. If you need anything Chesley is one text away. The yard is lovely with mature trees, moss, and natural rocks. It is a nature lovers paradise. The serene lake is just a few steps away. The outdoor shower tops it all off. Showering outdoors is revitalizing ( lots of hot water). You don’t get the same energy showering inside. Hard to explain. There is a smart TV and WIFI BTW. We saw rabbits, roughed grouse and deer on our drive to and from Archie’s. The road to Sunken Lake from the highway is fun; lots of turns and hills, brooks, trees, rock faces. The area is truly beautiful. I was sad to leave. "

"I dealt with probably 7 different staff during my stay, between check in and out, cleaners, pool staff and breakfast staff. All of them were awesome. Laughed and joked around. Easy to get along with. They were all Caucasian too, which made communication easy and quick. Breakfast was fresh and the staff were helpful. We had a great stay, except for some dummy parents letting their dummy kids be dummies in the pool. But that was no fault of the hotel. Will definitely stay here again. "

"The property is lovely. Host is quick to respond and very helpful. Cottage has everything you could need and a few extras. Everything is exactly where you think it should be. Furniture is comfortable. Decor is simple but inviting. Hot tub is small but fit two 6 feet tall people comfortably. The dirt road leading to the cabin was bumpy after the winter and we were grateful we brought the truck instead of my car. I'm sure the road is probably much easier to manage once it's had its yearly maintenance at camping season. We had an amazing, relaxing weekend and would definitely return here in the future. "
