"Nice mountain resort hotel with a view of the lake. Check in was easy and room was large. We had half board - food was good but probably due to communication problem, we were not served Japanese-style dinner like the local tourists. However breakfast was Japanese. There was a nice onsen too. There was a slight problem in the morning when water was cut off, but it was restored just before check out. The owner was very apologetic and waive the my charges for sake drink which I ordered during...

"Business man’s hotel I suppose. Right across from Mihara Station. Small room but well laid out and spotless. Young man at desk was very jolly and hospitable on my arrival. No view, wall of another building but it was dark when I got there and sleep was all I craved. Desk stored my bags for me after check out as I’d planned to visit Buttsuji Temple but I missed the early bus and couldn’t wait till afternoon for the next so I took a walk down to the port. Ferry to nearby islands in the Seto Island...
