"Facility showed its age but the explicitly clean room makes up for it. A-plus for cleaning staff. Value for money is fair. Lowest price for the smallest room, tight for two persons. The location and convenience added to the higher price than other nearby hotels. "

"I really enjoyed my one night stay here. The check in staff were very helpful and we had a very pleasant twin room. You select the amenities you want for the room in the lobby- there’s no wastage. The walk to the local shopping street and cable car to the castle on the hill is easy. And there is a tram over the way which we used to get to the Dogo Onsen. The room was fastidiously clean (as most of Japan is) and quiet. Great choice in Matsuyama."

"One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Japan. Located right next to the JR Imabari station and the end of the Shimanami Kaido Cycling Route. After a long day of cycling, it was a great experience. The staff allowed me to bring my bike into the room and hang it on the wall rack. There was a happy hour with free drinks from 6-9pm - sake, wine, spirits, etc. There was also a free coffee machine in the lobby. The room was clean and spacious. If you are looking for a place to stay after a long day of cycling, look no further!"

"This I’d really an exceptional hotel and is also very reasonably priced. The onzen is very nice and was never over crowded. The breakfast was very much worth the price, and the 7:00 pm icecream is a very nice touch. "

"An excellent place to stay if you’re biking the Shimanami Kaidō. The views are breathtaking, and the apartment is incredibly comfortable. I especially appreciated the washer and dryer — a huge plus after two full days of intense cycling. The attention to detail, stylish decor, and overall design are top-notch. Highly recommended! A couple of things to keep in mind: (1) the property is located at the top of a hill, so getting there requires a bit of a climb, and (2) the nearest convenience store is about 20 minutes away by bike. That said, these are also part of the charm — the elevation gives you those incredible views, and the distance from town makes the setting peaceful and quiet."

"Located in one of the most popular areas in Matsuyama, walking distance to the Castle Ropeway, Mitsukoshi Dept store and many other attractions. Easy public transport to Dogo Onsen by tram or bus. Lot's of eating options from cheap chain shops to specialty shops (sushi, yaki-niku, etc) Their public bath is a plus. Recommended."

"The hotel is really well located, near the city's shopping district. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly, and breakfast is delicious. The bath is really nice, and the view of the city is beautiful. I will definitely consider returning to this hotel if I get the chance."
