"We had an incredible stay here, highly recommend. Family home, staff are attentive and responsive and very helpful. Unbelievable views from the balcony overlooking the Douro river and the valley. Rooms are spacious and clean, bathroom was giant and parking behind a gated fence so very secure and safe. Great breakfast that comes included and nice lounge area to relax in over a glass of their welcome port. Overall, we loved our time and would absolutely be back."

"The LBV hotel is an absolutely beautiful property. However, it is a VERY steep climb up to it from Pinhao. Unless you have a car (which is challenging to drive in this area) or want to pay for a taxi to get to a restaurant it is not convenient. I averaged 10 miles a day travelling in Europe and this climb was A LOT. I think this is the norm for the area. Hotel was a GREAT bargain but challenging to get to."

"This was my 3rd time staying at QdLR, yet I think this is my first review of the property(?). This is a solid gem in Pinhão. Although about 0.5 km from the town, the location means it is quiet. Wonderful, spacious room, excellent restaurant, and scrumptious breakfast, not to mention great wines and ports from the on-site winery. I had the trip from hell to get here and arrived late. They made certain I had dinner available and had a bottle of wine waiting in my room. They took great care of...
