"Loved the name of this Hotel, and on arrival were not disappointed. It is a newly refurbished Hotel, and although simple in style, it is a very unique place, located on a wonderful site which overlooks the ocean, and has a spectacular view from the restaurant while dining. "Well we didn't actually get to stay. We booked the hotel in April on Expedia/Hotels.com and when we arrived on December 27 we were shocked to find our booking had been cancelled. According to Sanmark they had cancelled all Expedia bookings (since they said no one who booked on Expedia were showing up) however we were never notified. Apparently Expedia was suppose to notify but they did not. We expected the Sanmark to help us in our situation (which they eventually did) but there initial...

"Very friendly staff and helpful manager. Sri Lankan breakfast was amazing. Room (deluxe) very large and provided extra bed for kids. Short 10 min walk to galle fort. "The Fort Printers is a beautiful boutique hotel with professional staff who are lovely. The breakfast and dinner menu was outstanding with some of the best food we ate in Sri Lanka. Our room was very comfortable and a really good size. They also serve excellent cocktails, I had one of the best bloody Mary's ever 😋 "

"Bartizan is locted on edge of Galle Fort. It has a rooftop with seating which has great sea views and more importantly a breeze in the swealtering heat! Breakfast amazing, with nice choices, staff supet freindly and very polite. Well worth booking a room with seaview or partial seaview rather than courtyard room ( although these are fine). Would recommend this hotel. "

Excellent Food/Setting and Accomodations

"Excellent/wonderful. Beautiful facility/setting and the staff are wonderful. The breakfast was the best I had in all of Sri Lanka. The dinner choices were wide ranging an excellent. The bed was very comfortable. Excellent water pressure with plenty of hot water. About a 10 minute Tuk Tuk ride to the Fort. Highly recommend. "
