The only thing that upsets is the lack of a pier near the water. There was no opportunity to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of nature by dipping our feet in the water. "We needed a place to stay after bringing our DCOM student back to school after Christmas. The 1928 Cottage fit our needs perfectly. The house is spacious and comfortable.Our twin sons enjoyed having their own bedrooms!We enjoyed looking at the old pictures and perusing the many books. There's also several games to choose from. We played a rousing game of Life. The location can't be beat! We walked to both Angelo's and Gap Creek Coffee. Neither spot disappoints!Thanks to Anthony for excellent...

"We stayed here with a group of 20 for Thanksgiving and didn’t feel cramped. Although one bathroom had a sewage smell (which was fixed), the golf cart ran out of gas and we had to push it back to the house, and there was no lake access, only a lake view, we had a good time. There’s a bathroom in each bedroom. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. The wifi worked perfectly on all 3 floors. The hosts were very responsive. "

"The home was beautiful. On the water and awesome view of Lake Norris. Surrounding neighborhood (1 mile from lake) not as well off. We did contact management about a very bad smell (seemed like septic smell) coming from the first floor restroom. After a couple days maintenance person came out. Told us issue was fixed and smell would dissipate, but it didn’t. We just got used to it, but noticed it each time we left and came back inside. Hope they’re able to fix this for next renters.
