"This was a perfect cozy escape for our weekend in Saratoga. Just off the beaten path, but close enough to downtown. Charming, rustic but definitely nicely appointed and clean accommodations. Secluded wooded surroundings. Plenty of comfortable seating inside and out. The host made us feel very welcome by leaving treats for our dog as well as for us too. This is a host that goes the extra mile. "

"Surrounded by beautiful nature, cabin was welcoming and cozy. Steve is a great owner and very caring as well. We were there 7 nights/8days and it rained for 3 days but we found other things to do other than hiking and enjoyed ourselves. Only wish there were ceiling lights in the bedroom and the living room, it is quite dark to read or play games. We would visit this place again. "

Our communication was seamless and she was kind and courteous. She made us feel right at home. "This is my friend and my third time coming to the ADK region for vacation in the fall-this is by far our best experience yet. Joe not only sent an email with the check in process but also made sure I received it and had his cell phone number for any issues. The cabin was spotless and cozy- the little touches of decorations/candles gave it a very welcoming feel. The area was beautiful, so many places to hike and explore! It was great to have a fire by the river in the evenings and a cup of coffee...

"We enjoyed the pond with swimming, Kayaking and tubing! We had a few nights of sitting around the fire and going a little more than a mile to town for ice cream. We visited six flags and Saratoga racing and a day of boating on Saratoga lake and came back to a quiet retreat in the woods. The house was clean and relaxing with everything you need to enjoy some downtime. We would love to come back again! I do recommend bug spray as a prior vacationer did."

It was a little warm but we were warned of the cooling situation and we were there on a very hot humid week. I would recommend for a group trip. close to lots to do. "
