"28-29aug. Nice view but old home stay. No facilities and nothing to do in the property. Dinner is home cook meal with not much of choice. I think in Nantou most home stay about the same."

"Just had a wonderful stay at Xianal Vacation Chateau (夏內爾渡假民宿). It was just a piece of paradise among the strawberry fields. It's just off the busy Taiwan Route No 3, but the noise level was not a concern due to good sound insulations. It's also a short drive to the town of Dahu for a nice meal. The hosts are very enthusiastic and helpful, and are just a pleasure to chat with. The room was tastefully decorated, with top-shelve amenities. "Owners go the extra mile to serve with their hearts such as carrying heavy luggage for us up the slope to our room & offering to drop us at CJ farm up hill. I appreciate their service v much. It’s quite cold up in the mountain and foggy. Disappointed that star-gazing session has been cancelled due to cloudy sky. Breakfast spread is just nice to kick start your day. Is a bit ulu up a steep, narrow path"

"We really enjoyed our 3nights at Top Cloud Villa. The premise is serene; give us a sense of calmness and tranquility compare to our busy city life. Morning breakfast was charming and wholesome. We enjoy our daily walk enjoying the cool breeze the morning and evening sunset above the clouds. Staff was friendly and always eager to assist with any enquiries anytime. We might visit again! "This was such a cute property! The welcome and check-out gifts were very thoughtful and the variety of snacks available were great! The room was very comfortable and having breakfast options was convenient! I also accidentally left an item behind at checkout and the housekeeping staff/front desk reached out to let me know so I could pick it up in a timely manner- I was so grateful for their trustworthiness and honesty! It’s a nice property in a quiet area (relatively close to the night market...
