B&B in Miaoli County

"Just had a wonderful stay at Xianal Vacation Chateau (夏內爾渡假民宿). It was just a piece of paradise among the strawberry fields. It's just off the busy Taiwan Route No 3, but the noise level was not a concern due to good sound insulations. It's also a short drive to the town of Dahu for a nice meal. The hosts are very enthusiastic and helpful, and are just a pleasure to chat with. The room was tastefully decorated, with top-shelve amenities. "Rooms are big but dusty. Bigger rooms have air-conditioning but smaller rooms do not have air-conditioning, and rely on the cool air in the evening. Therefore have to open windows. Bath tub available, but each guest is provided with only a small packet of shower gel/shampoo packet. So you can only take 1 shower a day, unless you bring along your own shower gel/shapoo. Breakfast was great if you like asian food. Coin-operated laundry is available, but not commercial types. Did not see any dryer...

"Our stay at Lifu Garden Inn was fantastic. The host is so kind and helpful. We arrived low on gas and they helped us fill up from a local nearby since the gas station there is not yet completed. The drive up to Lifu is incredible. What an amazing place to live. The restaurants are about 3 min up the road and are all delicious and the views are unbelievable with the fog rolling around on the mountains. Breakfast was great and the resident kitty, "mouse" was a sweetheart. We would absolutely stay...

"The stay at Fuyam was excellent in every aspect. Beautiful and tranquil environment that looks like a page out of a pictursque storybook. Lovely owners Brian and his parents Mr and Mrs Chung, as well as the helper Ah Lian, who provided warm hospitality and see to your needs. The 3 hr travel up Lala Shan was gruelling but it's worth the journey when you experience Fuyam. The day trip to the Cypress Forest Reserve was enjoyable due to the friendly and helpful driver guide Mr Png. I left my heart...

"Did not bother to inform me in advance about advance payment, nor bothered to inform me in advance about cash payment. I've already mentioned that I can't access their line contact for some reason, that was told 3 times to communicate via line. Obviously failed to listen When I'm stuck outside, she even insist that I'll need to make payment before can enter... till I said I'll make the payment after putting my luggage. Totally a failed in handling simple operations and basic...

"This is purely a review for the staff. We originally booked for one day but got the dates wrong, and the property graciously offered to let us change our stay without any issues with a short phone call. We ended up changing our itinerary and not staying but the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us."

"We only stayed for one night in the biggest room (3 adults and 3 kids). When we opened the door, everyone was so excited, the room is big and comfortable, I love the style (designed by the host). They also provide the clay/ hand made pottery lesson and DIY pizza for guesses, we all had so much fun with the lesson. the host are very kind and friends, I will bring all my family and go back again soon."
