I was disappointed with the bar prices, we paid £6 for a tiny bowl of mixed nuts, £10 a pint and £8 for a small glass of wine. It was a treat for us both and overall we enjoyed our stay and met with family who live locally. Thank you! "

"I meeded an overnight stop en-route to an event in the area. The location, price and car parking options first attracted me. On arrival I was greeted courteously and made very welcome. The staff were all very professional, but also sympathetic and obliging to a small additional request I had. The room was comfortable and clean, and a good size. Bathroom and Bed both of good standard. Ideally located for an all too brief look around the Town, the Hotel has its own charm, history and character. I would definitely go back."
