"The stay had much to be desired. Check in was at 2. When we arrived at 2 we were told it would be about another hour as they were not ready. It was about 35 to 40 mins and the room was ready. When we got to our room we were told that the TV and the fridge dont work. Unfortunately I had to be a bit of a complainer. "Comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Well located for ferry port and train station, with tram to both for the less energetic. I checked in late Sunday afternoon which meant reception was not staffed, but intercom provided all information to get in and access key card. Very comfortable bed and perfect pillows. Shower was small, but then I'm quite large! Water temperature regulation was very sensitive. Overall a good stop over"

"The beach and restaurant are quite lovely as is the entrance to the hotel. We were taken through the hotel, out the back ally, up some stairs to a different building and into a large undecorated room with a large patio with no view. There was a party in the room above us all night that made it impossible to sleep. I’m sure it was once a lovely location but it hasn’t aged well. Best for young folks that want to party. "

"Fantastic setting. View of the coast, gardens, terraces. This makes it. We’d been on the move in Italy and when we got here we didn’t want to leave the hotel property, just stay all day. Breakfast outside on terrace is a highlight. Friendly staff very service oriented. Highly recommended. "
