"We had a wonderful and relaxing stay in this amazing villa. Puji and her husband are very kind, and lovely hosts. Puji reachted out to us immediately after te reservation. She offerd her help and gave us direction about how to reach her villa. The communication with her was excellent. Her husband is a lovely and caring host. "This hotel is beautiful. It is old but very charming and it is managed very well. The staff is outstanding. Thank you, Noval, for the driving for the day trips! The breakfast is the most varied that I’ve seen in Asia so far. I had a massage at the spa that was wonderful. "

Staff responds to emails immediately for any questions especially about visiting temples in the area of Yogjakarta, helped me to connect with Tyas and Dharma who organized our trips to Borobudur and Prambanan. An exceptional heritage hotel to Yogyakarta

"The interior from the entrance to reception and lobby has a spacious character of a forest. Muted colour grace the ID peppered with Batik elements and sympathetic art works streaming to the bedrooms. The pool in the podium block is breath taking in quiet intimacy with the landscape, bringing you away from the madding crowds. Such a pleasure to celebrate our vacation with this project which reflects timelessness between tradition and modernity. Congratulations to the architects. A+!! "

Noise from the restaurant

"The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room is located at 7flr and the restaurant is on the 8flr just above our room. During our stay there, we are always awaken by the noise above as the restaurant is getting ready for breakfast every morning. "

"The breakfast was good. Staff are friendly. They only had one elevator working so that was a bit inconvenient. The location of the hotel is good. It was a few minutes walk to Galleria Mall. It was a bit far from Malioboro. Here are plenty of nearby eateries "

"Excellent, serene, peaceful, relaxing location surrounded by dense forest and views of mountains, rice field, villages and Borobudur temple! The staff were the super host - very humble, welcoming, and agile service! The staff understood and served well on our requested dietary preference for Jain and Vegetarian Chinese Indonesian food! The day breaks at 4pm with call for prayers so be prepared to start and end the day early! "

"We liked the Colonial architecture, and the size of our rooms was very spacious. Great views of the rice fields, its lush greenery landscapes. The meals were delicious, especially the breakfast buffet. Nice variety for us. Also the staff were very welcoming and it had a cozy atmosphere throughout the hotel. "
