"The hosts Belinda & Mark were wonderful. I hiked to the cottage and needed help getting provisions and a lift to the highway next day. The "tiny" cottage was modern, light and lots of fun. It had everything and I had fun, but using the tiny kitchen was a juggling exercise. If only the trailer was just 1 meter longer, it would have enabled a reasonable amount of kitchen bench space and a bench to place and use baggage. The 'tiny' dining suite was just too small and seats were uncomfortable. ...

"Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Kathleen and Ken’s property. They’re honestly the most lovely, welcoming people. Even without the lure of the farm, they’re enough to make you want to come back again. The farm is awesome, they’ve got a Cow, Bull, Sheep, Ducks, Chickens, Turkeys and a lovely little Puppy which are all super accessible during your stay. Aside from the paddock with the Bull (for obvious reason) you have pretty much free rein to go and explore the entire 25 acres. Ken left us plenty...

"Attached at the rear to the 'big' house I felt a little upstairs downstairs! Loved the gardens, chooks, donkeys and outside spaces. No fuss check-in after we determined it wasn't 4pm as shown but 2pm. Recommend for city dwellers who want a taste of the farm life."

"A great little place with lovely views, only 15-20mins from town. Perfect for 3 adults or a couple with younger kids. Communication with the owners was great and the fireplace was fantastic on a cold wet day. Only a minor inconvenience, no smart tv meant no Netflix, but we would definitely stay again"
