"we loved being in the water floating, fishing and just talking to each other. The wineries were wonderful to visit and do some taste testing, the farmer markets had some good deals with home made cheese and jerky. The neighbors were friendly and we enjoyed talking to them and petting their friendly dog, thank you for the use of your cottage we needed the break from the rat race called life. "Our house was damaged in the May 7 Portage, MI tornado so after outside repairs were completed, we moved out for 2 weeks while they completed inside repairs. While the tornado was a tragic experience for us, to be able to spend time at this location, on the lake (the sunrise is breathtaking), with family and friends was a blessing in disguise. We also had unseasonably warm September weather the entire time so we enjoyed the lake, the paddleboat, kayaks and the boat! Working with the insurance...

"Place was in a good location. Views were amazing. Having the pontoon included was a game changer. We also brought fishing boats, but being able to get many friends out on the lake on the same boat and not having to trailer a big pontoon in was incredible. Hosts were attentive and everyone loved their stay!"
