"Lovely home for a two-night stay. The place was cute and comfortable. The only downside is that the bathroom is downstairs, so when these old people needed it in the middle of the night, it was a sketchy journey down the stairs. If we were younger and healthier it would not have been a problem. "

"We stayed on the 2nd floor of this property, which was very well appointed, nicely updated and comfortable for three adults. Two of us had separate bedrooms and the 3rd slept on the Murphy bed. Everything was clean and as advertised for a decent price in this small rural corner of the state. Made for great stargazing at the nearby state park, and there was good food at the local haunts in Keosauqua and the other villages just a short drive away. "

"Sean is one of the best hosts I’ve ever had. We had a work truck go down just days before our booking and Sean made several attempts to accommodate us so we reschedule. He didn’t have to do any of that. We arrived to a spotless, lodge-style home that was comfortable and convenient. Sean constantly checked in on us to ensure we had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the beds were ultra comfortable. We’d stay here anytime we were within 30 miles of here. Lastly, Sean is a Veteran and a former firefighter, so trust your money and plans with his service."

"My sister and I stay in lots of VRBOs, and we agree that this may be the best one we have ever stayed in. Everything was excellent. Great kitchen, great bathroom with washer and dryer, two bedrooms with very comfortable beds, great deck with a view of the river, great selection of movies to watch. We slept with the windows open. It was nice and cool. There was really no outside noise (who has ever been in a town with no traffic noise). We were close to the river, close to a hotel with wine and happily, close to an ice cream shop. Wish it was closer to us so we could stay again."
