"Location was great. Right in the middle of the city center, 15min walk to popular beaches, 20min walk to train station. The place was old but it is in an old area so it was to be expected. I had a twin room to myself and it was in the top floor and it had a balcony. Pretty good! Staff was friendly. Had an issue with a key for one of the doors and someone came within 10mins to help me (outside business hours). "Had an amazing stay at the hostel. Staff was super friendly and helpful, the place is in great condition and has a beautiful yard with a swimming pool, orange trees and a volleyball field. Nice big kitchen, the hostel also offers a great breakfast and dinner. Really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, thanks a lot!!"

"One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in! The staff were so lovely, they made sure I was okay every single day! Didn’t want to leave! Was a little bit far from the main strip but was so close to a McDonald’s for late night food or a supermarket for easy food/drink access "

"My review is difficult as we arrived to be told that a computer malfunction meant that our 2 rooms were occupied. We agreed to move to another hostel, it was good. They should have notified us before. Also payment has been taken out and paid back 4 times now, incurringinternational currency charges each time. I have requested an explanation, but no answer so far. They need to work on their communication."

"Everything went well as far as hostels go, but if you want a good night’s sleep on a weekend, the area around here is so loud with partiers on the street coming out of bars. I slept maybe 2 hours due to the noise. I only stayed one night, thankfully. I wish I had booked elsewhere. "

"This villa was comfortable for six people, at a very reasonable cost, and a great location, with a 5 min. walk to the beach and ten minutes from the old city. It felt secure, with off street parking in a quiet neighborhood, near the marina and train station. The villa doesn't have central heat but two portable heaters were provided that were definitely needed in mid-March. Communication with the on site host would have been easier had our Portuguese been better, but we were able to communicate...

"We had a lovely stay in Lagos with very helpful and friendly owners. They even picked us up as we tried walking up the hill. A nice quiet location away from the noise of downtown yet close enough to enjoy the city! Loved the use of the complex pool! Highly recommend."

"Vila Vita Parc is unbelievable. In fact it is essentially perfection. It offers everything imaginable at the highest level. The property is amazing. The rooms are amazing. The restaurants are amazing. Of course it is the Vila Vita Parc team that makes your stay unforgettable. Every team member is incredibly kind. We look forward to returning with our families. "We can't say enough about our stay here! It was beautiful, clean, welcoming, and the staff were helpful, kind and knowledgable. Great cocktails and views. Walkable to the town, as well as to a beautiful beach for cave tours and a great restuarant. The Seven Hanging Valleys Trail is accessible from the resort as well, and a great way to experience the beauty of this area. We can't say enough about this hotel. We will return."
