"It is only 2 minutes drive from the main motorway between Dunkirk and Antwerp. So it is very convenient. The restaurants in the town square are 4 minutes walk from the hotel and they offer an excellent menu.The bedroom windows have the normal heavy curtains but in addition they also have electric operated shutters that ensures a quiet night's sleep. Breakfast was really good. "

"We wanted a break in the country but it was out of season and we were often the only people in the hotel,which meant there were no facilities open.Breakfast was poor, except on the Sunday when a large group were having the meal and there was a lot more choice."

"Always like to stop here. Very clean, kind stuff, amazing breakfast. But will never book again the budget room in the hot summer. It is impossible to sleep as it is very warm and the ventilator does not help. Would be nice to have air-conditioning. Luckily I got a Comfort room for the last night and we were happy with my dog there. We'll be back 🐕❤️"

"Overall, adequate for one night. A short drive to central Gent. Free parking and breakfast included. Breakfast was lovely. Room was big enough for 3 of us, clean, no a/c but had a fan which was fine. No lift in this 3 story hotel."

"We were so thrilled to find this little hotel tucked away near Ghent. We stayed twice - on the way to and from a drive from London - Germany. The room was incredibly cosy and comfortable, the food at the restaurant (highly recommend booking!) was absolutely delicious, and Isabelle made us feel so welcome and looked after. Our highlight was most definitely the breakfast feast that was brought to our room each morning (the best hotel breakfast we’ve had). We can’t wait to visit again! "

"I originally had a different hotel booked but changed to this one at the last minute since it was closer to the city center and I read another review saying how it was very close to a parking garage. It ended up being ideally located, especially its proximity to the parking garage. "I loved the age of the building, dating in parts from 1470, and fitting in with the historical architecture and atmosphere of Bruges. My spacious room overlooked the canal, which was a treat. The hotel is a short walk from the city centre and a perfect base for exploration on foot. The breakfast buffet selection is excellent. All the staff members I met were extremely helpful and friendly."

"B&B Hotel Gent Centrum is as the name suggests very central and therefore close to many of the attractions of Ghent. Price was really reasonable and the breakfast is €15 per day and worth it (but might be cheaper if booked beforehand). No issues with quietness or comfort. One problem though - the shower head was leaking and therefore had very weak flow."

"Sophie on the reception desk was fabulous. She provided loads of information on places to go and to eat. She also arranged an early check in for us. The staff in the restaurant at breakfast were friendly and efficient. Shame the bar was closed, but otherwise great. Thank you. "

"Hotel was very nice and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Family room was perfect enough space for everyone. Pool was decent and food for breakfast was very good. Just outside Bruges centre but only 10 minute walk."

"We loved our stay at the Dukes palace. The hotel is very well located, the building is stunning and impressive. It’s very spacious inside with a fantastic central staircase. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout, and the checkin process being very easy. Our room allocation was fabulous and we had a great view. Would rate it higher but the spa facilities did not come included in the room rate which was a shame. Overall, fantastic and the only place to stay in Bruges!"
