"The place was in an area where all homes apparently had to be behind giant fences and gates. You have to travel tiny, bumpy dirt roads to get there. The host was very strange towards me, making me feel uncomfortable on multiple occasions. She also has no problem just showing up at your supposedly private home and often pops out of her home when she sees you walking to your car (you have to walk by her home to leave or get to your parking spot). My rental car was also damaged while parked there....

"We have just returned from 2 weeks at Casa Charms and loved every minute of it. The house is rustic and has an eclectic mix of furnishings which we found charming. There is so much space with so many areas to sit and relax. Spent the night time playing cards on the veranda and also ate all of our meals there.The annex worked really well for us as it gave our 19 year old son his own space. The pool is private and a really good size. The house is really well equipped with all the kitchen equipment...

"Un sitio muy tranquilo en medio de la naturaleza, cerca de Arcos y El Bosque, pero no para ir andando. Ángela en todo momento está atenta a que no falte de nada, la piscina muy bien cuidada, las casas perfectas para 4 personas aunque no hay problema si sois más porque hay 6 casas juntas. Mi perrita quizás la que más disfrutó de la naturaleza, con unos paseos por el campo imposibles en otro lugar. "It’s a very beautiful property with a great location. I would highlight that 2 of the rooms on the top floor and the room on the ground floor doesn’t have Air conditioning which in very hot days makes it difficult to sleep even though it has a fan on the ceiling. Also the facilities on the ground floor, the bathroom is exposed (no doors) - has no privacy which is very odd, if you are spending days with family or friends. Everyone had to use the other bathrooms in the house. The outside garden...

"Sehr nette Gastgeberin und auch hilfsbereit. Unterkunft ist echt schön. Allerdings könnte es etwas sauberer sein. Ebenfalls rennen 5 Hähne herum die am 2:30 Uhr morgen die ganze Zeit Krähen. Somit konnten wir nur mit Ohropax schlafen. Ebenfalls sind 2 Hunde auf dem Grundstück unterwegs die sehr viel bellen. Auch eine Hund Pension oder ähnliches ist in der Nähe die Nachts jaulen. Wen das nicht stört, für den ist die Unterkunft optimal."

"The whole experience was great, from the start to finish. The property has everything you need and more. The gardens are extensive and obviously the passion of the owner. Plenty of shady areas. Beautiful surroundings and only a 10 minute drive into Arcos. Nothing was too much trouble for Joaquin, and was always available to answer any questions about the surrounding area."

"An amazing & beautiful area, of course. And inside house LOOKED good, but clock broken, shower only 3 minutes (no way to wash hair), toilet seat broken, unsafe equipmt on woodstove. Checkout time ruined due to conflicting time zones online. Owner & partner very friendly, but unrealistic. My stay there was pretty bad."

Host gave us good recommendations for a day trip - Bolonia Bay - with its gorgeous beach, sand dunes, wonderful Roman ruin and museum. "
