"At my arrival I did smell some fresh paint, when I told the front desk about it in friendly way, I was told there is no smell, and you’re not supposed to smell it in a sarcastic way. What a great start at the front desk. Then the guy behind the desk gave the room keys to the bellman I followed him, the room was not ready. I went for a walk for few minutes without even a word. The checkout was great, very professional and with a smile. "

"The location of the Hotel Miramar is fantastic. It is right across from the beach and a short walk to the Medina. The staff were friendly and helpful. The terrace was a wonderful place to have coffee, tea, and dessert. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is a little rundown and in need of refreshing. And, there is no air conditioning, and the rooms don’t have any air circulation so they are very warm. They provided us with a fan which helped a little but it was still uncomfortable. "

"This was a nightmare experience. We booked through Hotels.Com. This was one of the few hotels "available" on a busy weekend. Imagine our surprise when we arrived and discovered the hotel was a gutted shell in the process of being renovated. The restaurant on the ground floor was still open, but we got only a shrug and were told to go away. So, we spent the next few hours searching out an alternative space to stay. "I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dar El Q’dima, and it truly exceeded all expectations. Nestled in the vibrant Medina of Essaouira, this stunning riad offers an authentic yet luxurious Moroccan experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the charm and beauty of the riad. The intricate details in the design, from the mosaic tiles to the beautiful carved woodwork, reflect the rich cultural heritage of the city. The courtyard, with its fragrant flowers, provided a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms were equally impressive, each uniquely decorated with a blend of traditional Moroccan elements and modern comforts. My room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and offered a perfect mix of comfort and elegance and the attention to detail in the decor made it feel like a true Moroccan sanctuary. What truly sets Dar El Q’dima apart, however, is the impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay , BIG SHOUT OUT TO YASSIR he was nothing short of perfect. From recommending the best places to eat, their warmth and hospitality made me feel like a valued guest.
