"First I am normally not a complainer. I have also stayed in many VRBOs. All very positive experiences.I was expecting rustic because this place looked dated. However upon arrival there is an odor in the home that could not clearly be explained. We bought candles to help with the smell. It is supposed to be supplied with enough towels and wash clothes for 13 guests. It is not. They are working on flooring up stairs so one room was subfloor. Not completed. "We have stayed in a lot of VRBO’s but this exceeded all of our expectations. The owners were WONDERFUL to communicate quickly and often. We were welcomed by fresh flowers and a sweet note. The home has been completely remodeled/updated and decorated so lovely! The sunroom was amazing as was the dock and chairs. Highly recommend. "

"Okay. So this house is owned by someone who no longer lives in MN. A cleaning company/person was hired to clean the house but when we got there the house was clean in the sense that there wasn’t trash or belongings everywhere but the house was filthy in the sense that there were cobwebs everywhere, literally everywhere. "Stayed at this sweet house with 3 adult sisters. Was a beautiful , clean home! Despite some initial issues we had, the stay was amazing !! The owner and property manager were completely responsive and kind. The issue we had was quickly resolved and they even gave us a gift card for a local estery for our issue! Very kind of them!
