"This was such a delightful little house with a cute theme! The property was quiet, and the perfect place for my own little mini-writer retreat. I enjoyed hiking at nearby Jordan Lake the first day as much as I enjoyed being shut in due to rain the second. Will definitely stay again! "

We also enjoy shooting at the sporting clay range. They have shotguns to rent and shells. The small hotel-style refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven are just enough to get by for basic meals. "This was such a great getaway for the weekend. Everything was clean and well maintained. The hosts were easy to contact and answered all my questions. Great way to learn about living off grid, showering in an outdoor stall and using a composting toilet. If you need to keep some food cold or frozen I suggest bringing some ice. They provided a small cooler. Overall great experience."

"Our family enjoyed this property with all of its unique indoor and outdoor spaces. In addition to the plentiful space inside, we enjoyed having great sitting areas outside. We are also a cooking family, so we appreciated having a kitchen stocked with pots, pans and tools as well as a gas grill. This enabled us to fix a near-gourmet meal for ourselves as well as friends and family who live nearby. We hope to return to this property in the future."
