"We just wanted a comfortable room and it was. Coffee / kettle / mugs all good and nice towels. Didn't expect a lot as we just wanted a room but very happy with it. Nice big car park away from the road was good too."

"Property a bit tired looking however, spotlessly clean and staff where friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with everything we needed although the lighting was rather dim. Small bathroom but adequate and great, powerful shower with constant hot water. Bed large and comfy. Room very quiet and warm. We ate evening meal in the pub, lovely food at reasonable price with varied menu. We also had breakfast, again, lovely food and a good choice. We would stay here again. "

"Good value for money. Not the most up to date decor but staff were friendly, it is in a good location and with a Hungry Horse as part of the hotel well worth the money. Don't expect the Ritz for the cost of the stay."

"A very pleasant village pub, in an interesting and historic village. The room, on the top floor, was spacious, with a decent bathroom. What was lacking in the room was decent lighting: a single, low-powered LED filament bulb was completely inadequate if you wanted to sit and read. Although breakfast choices were very good, service was slow on both mornings. All in all, rather pricey for the accommodation & service provided."

"The is a lovely little in, ideal for a short stop-over. The staff in the pub were extremely welcoming, it has a great atmosphere, and the food was outstanding. The only down side is, the room I stayed in is next to a commercial site which has bright spotlights, this means that even with the curtains closed the room wasn't overly dark. Also the bed wasn't that comfortable, so I didn't sleep very well. Overall a pleasant stay, and possibly somewhere I would consider for a future stay."

"Had a nice stay and would stay again every one friends only down side at night it gets very cold in the room and to cold to shower in the morning if like me you have an early star and there is no door stop around the door on room 1 so when the is shut you can still out as well as see in not that any one would want to look at my naked body but it also lets in a lot of light from the hall if you like it dark when you sleep "
