"A very spacious villa with direct access to a rocky beach but within walking distance of St Thomas Bay where there is a sandy beach. There are several well stocked convenience stores 2-5 minutes walk away, and a larger supermarket, butcher and wine shop within easy reach. There are lots of places to eat nearby. "Villa was lovely, very clean with lots of quirky bits to it. Lots of winding steps to bedrooms so not good if you have mobility issues. Only downside was only a small amount of sun by pool (possibly because we went in September) it may be different in earlier months. Although lots of sun on upper terrace, it was nice to have an outdoor shower so easy to cool off. Unfortunately while we were there a lot of dog barking from nearby which was frustrating at times. "This house is just a wow from top to bottom. The house itself just oozes history and has been maintained, decorated and updated in a completely sympathetic manner. We were a family of 6 (should have been 7 but there was no issue with changes at the last minute) All the rooms were a good size for the whole family, large well equipped kitchen and upstairs salon.
