"Very friendly staff. We had the room that had the patio next to the pool. Very convenient for morning and eveving swimming. We went only once to the larger pools on the property. The Jetty and Mango bars were fun and had very good drinks. Food at the Indian restaurant was fantastic and the best meal we had on the property. Sadly we did not get a chance to try the Italian restaurant. We did not know that it needed a reservation like the Indian restaurant. The snack bar by the Mango bar had good snacks, popcorn, peanuts, hotdogs, etc. We will be going back again next year."

"We had an amazing stay at the Amani! The hotel is a perfect place for an adults-only, quiet, relaxing stay. The location was a bit outside of Paje (20 minute walk along the beach), and there were limited options for dining because of the location, but dinner is included so that meant we had a quiet, delicious dinner every night. The view of the pool, grounds, and beautiful beach were beautiful. There were lounges chairs on the beach and pool and enough for every guest - a first for us! The only downside was the large construction project next door. It didn't really affect us, but we talked to several guests who were placed in rooms with a view of the construction and a jack hammer pounding all day long. They were equally frustrated that they had not been informed in advance. Also, the hotel lists itself as a 5-star hotel. It is not, though it is certainly very nice. What really sets the Amani apart is the incredible staff. We felt pampered as if we were in a typical 5-star hotel. In particular, Hamad helped us unwind and relax from the moment we arrived until we left; Alfred was amazing with his attentiveness and constant joy; Robert never stopped anticipating what we might want or need next. We highly recommend this hotel, though you'd probably want to check in advance to make sure you have a room that is not facing the project next door (it looks like many months of work left ahead). Thank you Amani team for a wonderful 8 days! We can wait to return."

"We planned to stay at Blue Moon Resort for three nights but loved it so much that we extended our stay. The staff were friendly, hardworking, and welcoming. Check-in was simple, and we got a tour before heading to our private pool room, which was clean, spacious, and quiet. The pool was surrounded by large palm trees, making it incredibly relaxing to float and watch them sway. The room had a minibar, Netflix, and an Alexa station, and housekeeping cleaned it daily. A couple of minor issues: the wardrobe only had four hangers, which wasn’t enough, and the shower temperature fluctuated between hot and cold every 30 seconds. The restaurant overlooked the sea and served great food. I had local traditional meals, and one night, a BBQ buffet with live music created a lively atmosphere. Breakfast was à la carte, and the vegetarian option was excellent, with fresh avocado, stir-fried vegetables, and pineapple juice. The grounds were well-maintained and peaceful. We loved relaxing on the jetty and swimming in the warm, calm sea. The beach was rocky, but we visited a Maasai shop nearby. Bring cash (USD), as the card machine had issues. My wife had a reasonably priced full-body massage. The dogs and cats were tame, but a monkey on a lead seemed unfairly restricted. "

"i did a very late check in and what i found was a smile from staff upon my arrival, a very quiet place with a huge clean pool, awsome food options and a full mini bar inside the room. big smart screen tv and great A/C unit. the beach is almos endless in low tide and the beauty expands for miles. Nothing epse to say but a great choice if you really want to relax. thank you Mateo and all the Aquamarine staff for a great 30 anniversary trip memories. karibu Sana"
