"Perfect getaway spot for all weather!We had to stay indoors due to chilly rain all weekend, but there was plenty to do!4 thrift stores nearby and lovely dining opportunities.There was plenty to do at the house as well, video games, pool table, and hot tub were all a big hit."

"Early April is just at the cusp of spring in this area. There were lots of people heading to the state park on Saturday, despite the damp weather. We were visiting Penn State, which had lots of different events scheduled and enjoyed being close to campus ( 15 mins) but also miles away from the crowds with our two children and one dog. The house is very rustic, but well-appointed with newer fixtures (particularly in the kitchen) and has lots of dishes and cookware if you're planning to self cater. The owner was very helpful / responsive leading up to and following our stay."
