"I had a girls trip just me and a friend and this cabin is perfect for a simple stay in the middle of nowhere. I love that there’s a restaurant/bar in the parking lot. We went and they were having a karaoke night and it was just so much fun to watch! The place was clean. It’s not a hotel room by any means so just keep in mind you are staying in a cabin. "Great little cabin on a sparkling lake, with good food and a friendly welcome in the restaurant on site. (Don’t miss the biscuits and gravy!) Had all the creature comforts I needed. Note that the “fireplace” is electric, not a wood burner. The kitchen has been enhanced with a chef’s cart, pots and pans, and a two-burner cooker. Also not pictured are the table and chairs and little hibachi outside. Coffee, cocoa, tea, and charcoal were provided. "

"Beautiful, quiet property right on the sound. House is well setup and stocked to stay in and cook all weekend. Backyard has a wonderful deck and yard to relax and enjoy nature."

"The cabin has a surprisingly well appointed kitchen compared to similar properties. For once I didn't have to go buy some piece of necessary equipment to get basic cooking tasks completed. It's by no means 100% stocked with everything you might need, but if you keep things simple, you should be fine. Maybe bring a sharp knife from home, as the knife set in the block is very low quality and very dull, making some prep difficult and possibly dangerous. "This was a great stay for us as we attended a nearby conference. House was clean and well furnished. Some cleenex would be nice but other than that the kitchen was stocked with the essentials and it was quiet and easy to access through brightly lit outdoor walkways. Beds were plush and comfy! Thank you very much! Vrbo and Expedia didn't give much details so communicating with the host was necessary and he was very responsive."
