"L’hôtel est superbe, luxueux, la végétation luxuriante. Très belle chambre avec lit Confortable SAUF le lit supplémentaire était horrible, avec tous les ressorts qu’on pouvait sentir avec juste la main, extra bed facturé 50 dollars. La réception nous a fait payer ce lit malgré notre réclamation… une HONTE d’avoir un matelas aussi horrible dans un établissement 5 étoiles, et dans lesquel la nuit coûte très cher "

"We stayed for 1 night when we were passing through to Ngorongoro. The staff were lively, special mention to Emmanuel and Flora. Breakfast was lovely omelettes made. Just a bit rough around the edges and as 2 women travelling alone, we didn’t feel comfortable walking out on our own. Others were doing it though. "

"Amazing property, great customer service, awesome calming river behind our back door, delicious food (sooo good), and a pool with monkey's swinging around in the trees above. I liked that they don't have tv, I was able to rejuvenate and get work done in a serene environment. Highly recommended!"

"Convenient B&B near Kilimanjaro Airport. Nothing fancy but clean with comfortable beds and great service from manager Aileen and team. 2 rooms per apartment each with own bath. Good stop over location for late night departures or arrivals. would definitely use again."

"Not as close to the airport as I thought. Taxi from airport to lodge takes about 20 mins along a dusty unpaved road. But hotel itself is very nice and you can see Kilimanjaro on a clear day. Staff very friendly and helpful. A lot of international tourists stay here "

"Peaceful spot just outside Arusha, with lots of monkeys hanging around outside to watch as you chill with a drink. The pool was lovely and the whole place has a premium feel with great service. Would definitely come back - this was the perfect start to my safari hol as a solo 30yo female traveller :)"

"My time at Zawadi House Lodge was perfect. It is a very quiet establishment that proved to be a perfect place to recover from my long flights from Melbourne, Australia. The lodge is nestled in a suburb of Arusha and it is a little piece of paradise. The lush garden keeps the place nice and cool and the furnishings are very comfortable. "I really enjoyed spending time at this hotel. The staff are very welcoming and wonderful people to be around. The staff made sure that I had a shuttle to go around town and a safe way to get there, had a secure place to store the remaining luggage, and they made delicious food for breakfast and at the restaurant. I would highly recommend to stay at the Stella Maris Lodge."
