I especially appreciate that there was an espresso machine, coffee maker, and even fresh coffee left for us. "Wonderful time in this cabin. It had amazing views and was quiet. The wifi was perfect for working and it was such a relaxing place to rest for a few days. It's about a 30 minute walk to town, but there are a few restaurants and shops along the way. The people are really friendly too. "

"Only there for a night. The host/manager could have done a better job explaining how to get there, instead of simply suggesting to use Waze maps! Also, they are building a new house at the bottom of the property, so it's a little dangerous having to walk thru a construction site to get to the beach down below. "This was quite possibly the best hotel we've ever stayed at. The views of the lake from every vantage point on the property are beyond stunning. The food at the hotel was by far the best we had anywhere in Guatemala. The staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. The room was stunning. And we absolutely loved San Marcos - everything you need is at most a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Truly can't recommend Kula Maya enough. "
