Area had just recently flooded but waters had receded such that roads were clear throughout our stay. Some businesses near by were not opened due to cleanup. "We enjoyed our girls weekend stay at The Springer House. The view of the Ohio river is great and the tiny town of New Richmond is just about 30 minutes from downtown Cincinnati. "

"The location is great, close to downtown. The apartment is above a bar so beware if you need a goodnight sleep because it can get loud with the bar patrons just below you but after 2:00am it gets super quiet as all the drunks have went home for the night. Larry(host) was super responsive and helpful. The apartment was a little Smokey smelling even though no smoking was allowed. "This apartment was the perfect size for a couple. All of the necessities are provided and the full kitchen saves money should one decide to prepare meals. SO MUCH NICER than any hotel room, one did not feel claustrophobic. Lack of lighting options was the most notable issue. Almost every room had overhead lights only. An extra chair in the living room would have been helpful, as well. Very enjoyable stay! "
