"My stay at the hotel started very Rocky but then I spoke with the manager and everybody was ridiculously nice and worked hard to fix all the issues. The hospitality and customer service was top-notch and definitely five stars. Everybody is also very friendly and professional simultaneously and they really do care about the people staying at the hotel. Mercedes was ridiculously sweet and caring, Cristian the star class manager was kind and on point all the time; he figured out ways to make things better and thought of solutions all the time--thank you so much!!! Javier at the buffet was so nice and helpful! Danny the personal agent was always running up and down to solve everyone's issues, reservations and accommodations. And somehow always kept composure. The drivers of the trollies were great too. The food was tasty and the variety was great! Delicious buffet! And good dinning options. Several pools as options and a beautiful spa. The masseuse was also strong and gave great massages. The entire staff is 5 stars! Thank you. Pura vida! "

"This resort was peaceful and quiet, great pools, right on a lovely beach. There was a lot of effort being made to keep the property clean and modern. We arrived early in the day and despite the hotel being at part capacity, it would have been nice to check in early after a long haul trip. However, we do respect hotels have a check in time for a reason."

"This is a beautiful resort that is a bit far from town but very lovely and quiet. They have wonderful staff that are happy to help you. There are events to that you can do while on the property- I did a horseback ride to the "top of the world" with my kids. It was wonderful, and we saw 2 waterfalls as well. The resort has a nice trail where you can see a fumerole- steam and hot water coming from the ground- and bubbling mud too. There is ziplining and plenty of food choices at the restaurant. They all spoke English and were so kind to my family. I didn't try the spa but I'm sure it's top notch too."

"Great hotel and spot in Costa Rica. We loved the staff and activities. Ronnie the bartender at the Aqua bar makes the most amazing drinks! Our house keeper Olga was excellent. Our room always looked like we had just checked in. Great food, great drinks, great location!"
