"Absolutely fantastic - an incredibly beautiful property in a lovely quiet street. The room was so comfortable and beautifully decorated, with a fantastic bathroom. Breakfast, which you order the evening before, was absolutely delicious and Alison was a fantastic host. The building had a stunning front room for guests to use and was beautifully decorated throughout. Spacious, quiet, peaceful and welcoming. "Enjoyed the weekend at Wauchope Cottage. Perfect location to explore the coast and Galloway forest area of SW Scotland. House is super clean and much more room than we expected. The grounds are gorgeous and we loved walking around. It would be nice if there was an opportunity to visit the castle to see the inside. This is a fairly remote property, so be prepared to drive to anything you need. But so quiet and peaceful."
