"We were two families with 5 children staying with Marie at her beautiful country house. The hosts were very warm and welcome and the house had all necessary equipment. Since this was May it was a bit chilly and the house was cold during night and mornings even though we tried to keep the fireplace burning as much as possible. "The hotel is a gorgeously renovated abbey on the edge of the old town center of Beaune. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Betty we felt welcome and relaxed. The room was spacious and elegant. The subterranean pool was a favorite feature to me, quiet and relaxing. Breakfast, which was served in a beautiful room by kind and attentive people, was delicious, with buffet items and eggs served to order. We enjoyed a wonderful stay. The facility is awe inspiring and the people who run the hotel were extremely welcoming. This is a very special hotel."
