"Wonderful location with splendid views over river from large room. We extended to 8 nights so obviously good but tiny tiny wardrobe so clothes around room. However , we saw other rooms had much larger later so should have asked to change. Excellent overall"

Exploration of the bastides, many within 30 - 90 minutes of Mandarou, provides many opportunities to explore the history of the area. Bike rides and walks through the many quiet country roads was a highlight of our visit, with something new spotted around every corner. The night skies are uninterrupted with light, so star gazing is an amazing experience. Joel and Chantal were wonderful hosts! Both were always welcoming and very helpful. They embody the essence is Mandarou. In short, our visit was everything and more that we hoped for."
