"We stayed here for one night in a triple, which looked just like in the pictures. The room was fairly sparse with three twin beds, a tiny table and three stools, and a wardrobe. We came during the off-season when there were very few people in the hotel, so we had our hallway to ourselves. Each hallway is named after a different European country, with the individual rooms named after major cities, which fits into the theme of the European guesthouse. "Great hotel and location. Very happy."

"Die Heizleistung im Bad war zu gering. Die Infomappe war nur in Englisch(war mir persönlich aber egal) Über dem Tisch ist die Beleuchtung zum lesen ungünstig. Ein Fernseher im Zimmer wäre wünschenswert(habe ich aber nicht benötigt). Das Preis/ Leistung verhältnis ist in Ordnung."

"Really happy with my stay here. The room was clean, as were the shower and bathroom. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. The guesthouse is downtown Kandern, so it's convenient to walk to different dining and shopping options. I'd stay here again."

I traveled a long way from US to Swiss (Villa 12 is on the border between Swiss and France), and had to work on the arriving day, so I got at the Villa 12 Guesthouse around 8:30pm, that is very normal time for a hotel/Guesthouse check-in time. But to my surprise, the main Gate of the Villa 12 is tightly closed, and the guesthouse building looks dark, did not seem there were people living in it.
