"Beautiful location with lovely, comfortable accomodation. The night staff were very friendly, accomodation and helpful on our arrival. We felt very welcome. However the day time reception staff were quite abrupt and rude not only to us but we watched a few other guests get 'told off' for petty things. Was rather unfortunate to witness. It spoilt the mood immediately. The lounge area was so relaxing with gorgeous views. The pool area was nice and clean but the floors are quite smooth and slippy!"

"There was a Christmas tree and decorations which made the house feel quite festive. The house was very comfortable and warm with plenty of space for the family of 5 adults and a dog. The facilities were a bit mixed - The living room tv was not working but this was sorted quite quickly. "Enjoyed the weekend at Wauchope Cottage. Perfect location to explore the coast and Galloway forest area of SW Scotland. House is super clean and much more room than we expected. The grounds are gorgeous and we loved walking around. It would be nice if there was an opportunity to visit the castle to see the inside. This is a fairly remote property, so be prepared to drive to anything you need. But so quiet and peaceful."

"We had the loveliest Christmas at Manslea house! The house itself is amazing - it’s huge, with enough rooms for our 11 family members to stay and relax in comfort. We had elderly parents in their late 80s, young adults and middle aged folk, plus a toddler and a 10 year old- and they all loved it. The beds were very comfy, the bathrooms were super clean and the kitchens had everything we needed - even for the demanding preparation of a Christmas dinner! The hot tub was awesome - and we all...

"Tigh Beag has wonderful hosts and is a cosy home from home. I appreciated the well-equipped property and especially the comfortable bed. I had everything I needed and more for my short stay visiting family nearby and I plan to return again next time. I'd highly recommend Tigh Beag for anyone visiting Troon who needs a great location as well as peace and quiet."

"This is a fantastic cottage in an adorable village. It has rolling hills, a burn and lots of sheep! The cottage itself was quite large and was fit for our family of 6, including adult children and their spouses. It was clean, decorated well and rather comfortable. There are amenities within walking distance such as a pub, museum, etc. We wished we had stayed longer and we'll definitely return!"

"The moonstone is absolutely beautiful spacious and homely. The host Barry was on hand and he was very helpful . The area is so peaceful looking out over the fields we saw some red deer . We have all throughly enjoyed our stay. The bed were very comfortable. I slept on the pull out sofa bed one night as my daughter wasn't feeling well and i found it comfortable and slept well. Thank you so much Barry. We look forward to staying again in the future. the field where we saw some red deer...

"This was my 2nd stay at Sweeney Apartments. Truthfully it cannot be faulted. This is now my go to place when working nearby. Great for business or pleasure trips. Great location close to restaurants, bars, shops and the great Strathclyde Country Park is only a 10 minute walk away. 5 Stars all the way!"
