"Just a bus ride on the Buda side of Budapest. One bus into Pest 108E or 2 buses. 15 min walk to the Budapest-Kelenford station and Etene Shopping Mall. Room was nice and spacious. We were right next to the restaurant and we thought it would have been noisy, but it surprisingly wasn’t and turned out to be very convenient. "The hotel and staff are great. However, the rooftop bar wasn’t open (not advertised) the breakfast was ironically really limited and poor and no kettle etc in the room, which would have been nice. Good location, given the price (tram stop across the room) and some great bars/ facilities close by as it’s on the outskirts. Great find. "

"Kudos to the staff who were all so kind and efficient. The breakfast had a robust amount of offerings. The hotel is very clean. The hotel interiors, and the room I had, were a little dated. Bath products pretty basic. The room smelled of a plastic-like smell when I arrived. I noticed the stairwell smelled the same so it's just something that's in the building. The windows were lovely and can open so I was able to air out the smell. "

Fantastic stay

"Every staff that I met or approached were very friendly and helpful. The junior suite is very comfortable and spacious for the 3 of us. The M club is cosy with good selection of food and drinks. Not forgetting the fantastic view from the room. The location is just 10min taxi ride from the main train station. There’s a tram which stops right in-front and a metro station within walking distance. Shopping, dining options and some tourist attractions are within walking distance. The only complaint I have is the water outside of the cubicle after showering. "

"Excellent location. Room and all facilities were clean and new. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel includes breakfast as well. Wonderful breakfast buffet choices. We had a fabulous stay at D8 hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for accommodations in Budapest. "
