"We loved our stay because there was a lot of space for two families with thirteen people, including a game room for the kids to play pool, ping-pong, and darts and to watch television, as well as a big living room with many board games, a gym in the basement, and a library with hundreds of books. We could also bike into town, walk to the quarry, or bike to many hikes around the island. The kitchen was big enough to make cooking for our crew easy, and there was also a fire pit outside,...

"Had an amazing stay at this charmer on the coast! Very clean, comfortable, and well cared for. Spent many hours just watching the ducks and birds enjoying the treats that come and go as the tides change. Great jumping off point to enjoy the beautiful coast of Maine! The only drawback is that the road is incredibly close to the house and the traffic noise is impossible to drown out, especially when trying to sleep in the second bedroom. Not ideal, but we would definitely return! "

Boat rides to Monhegan Island, kayak rental, and day trips to The Botanical Gardens and Camden Hills State park were highlights. My only issue was that getting to the property at night was a little scary because there were no lights on at the property and the area is very remote. It wouldve been helpful to have detailed instructions. "

"The stay was great! We enjoyed Owls Head, the neighborhood was very nice & quiet so we were able to have uninterrupted fun & relax. The internet never worked, not that I wanted to send time on a device, but it would have been nice to be able to research the area & things to do, but that was a struggle. We were short 1 towel for our number of guests. Also, I was disappointed that on the day our last payment was due, we were informed that the well could not handle more than 2 showers an hour. Well...

"We enjoyed Maine sooo much! The house is a dream! Well equipped, clean and the location is amazing! We did visit Rockland and Rockport several times, there are near and are lovely. Went hiking to Camden and spent the day in the vibrant town. Everything was easy and we will repeated for sure! "

The accommodations were great for our group - nice big kitchen to work in, plenty of space to hang out in, big back deck for dinners, and bedrooms simple but lovely. It's a great location in the center of the island to walk to the beaches, trails and around the island. Communication with host was super- quick responses and thoughtful."

"For a small cottage it was spacious, had modern amenities. The listing says harbor view but you have to look thru power lines, power poles and a lobster processing plant. The side stone steps are overgrown with vegetation making it hard to maneuver. All in all a good experience."
