"The house is lovely, great location and situation. The shore just below the house is rocky and charming, but requires caution descending to it (in the winter anyway). Sunrise over the south end of Monroe Island is just gorgeous. Views from every room. The kitchen is great, and the most generously supplied with cookware and dishes that I've ever seen in a rental. In our case it was Thanksgiving so no swimming in store but a huge advantage was walking distance to family property and access to more beds. "Had an amazing stay at this charmer on the coast! Very clean, comfortable, and well cared for. Spent many hours just watching the ducks and birds enjoying the treats that come and go as the tides change. Great jumping off point to enjoy the beautiful coast of Maine! The only drawback is that the road is incredibly close to the house and the traffic noise is impossible to drown out, especially when trying to sleep in the second bedroom. Not ideal, but we would definitely return! "

"This house is amazing! We have been renting properties long before vrbo was in operation and this property is in the top 3. Is it perfect, no. But, it's darn close. Chris is wonderful to deal with. He has made his house a home away from home. Televisions are an issue but streaming worked in the living room and in the boat house (with a TV we brought).
