"We had booked a deluxe room and tried to upgrade, but never received confirmation. Upon check-in, the receptionist (an Italian girl—honestly terrible at her job) assured us we had a “nice” room. In reality, it was one of the worst we’ve ever stayed in—and we travel a lot! It was in the basement, right next to the elevator, with two single beds instead of the king we had booked. "Amazing place, hidden gem! We could not believe how nice the rooms and facilities were. Perfect location for families, a ski shop attached, beautiful warm pool and spa area, great gym, can walk one minute to multiple restaurants or enjoy the food here. The staff was exceptional. "

"Great hotel next to obersee in Arosa. We stayed on an apartment which is spacious and has a long balcony facing the lake or the open ice rink, Mountain View’s either way. Nice bar/dining area and very easy check in/out with very friendly staff. Room wax clean and quiet and ski room accessible by lift to all floors. You can walk to lift to slopes in 5 minutes or so or a bus right outside takes you to other access points to the ski area. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go again."

I wish the room had air conditioning and no tea/coffee in the room which would have been nice so only gave 4 stars for that. The room/hotel is fairly old but has been reno'd slightly. Free parking...slightly off site but near by, just park and take your bags in first and then park otherwise a bit of a hike. I am writing this before breakfast buffet but I am sure it is nice, restaurant...
