"I had the best 5 day stay at mountain plaza in Davos. Before arriving I had requested to cancel a day for a refund as my plans changed. I called the front desk and had a lovely conversation with Fabio. This was a bit of foreshadowing to my stay. "We had booked a deluxe room and tried to upgrade, but never received confirmation. Upon check-in, the receptionist (an Italian girl—honestly terrible at her job) assured us we had a “nice” room. "Great hotel next to obersee in Arosa. We stayed on an apartment which is spacious and has a long balcony facing the lake or the open ice rink, Mountain View’s either way. Nice bar/dining area and very easy check in/out with very friendly staff. Room wax clean and quiet and ski room accessible by lift to all floors. You can walk to lift to slopes in 5 minutes or so or a bus right outside takes you to other access points to the ski area. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go again."
