"The "Hotel" is actually a set of apartment rentals in a very large, gated condo development being built on a supposedly protected coastline in Basilicata. Substantial sections of the development appear unfinished or abandoned. The apartments are large, air conditioned and well furnished and ideal for a week-to-month beach stay with children. "The staff was fabulous; both helpful and kind. We were unaware that caves are humid, which was our naivete. Breakfast was ample. Our cave was large and had lots of places to sit comfortably, inside and out. The only reason the stay was not 100% excellent was the humidity inside the cave despite running dehumidifiers and air conditioning. Having a sweet dog on premises was a bonus!"
