"The house is very large with the bedrooms quite separate from each other. There are 3 lots of 2 bedrooms. This worked for us as we had 3 lots of us so we each had our own space and our own bathrooms. There are however a lot of stairs which wasn't ideal with the two toddlers we had but they managed. The playroom had lots of toys, which our children loved playing with. There is a big table to eat outside with an outside kitchen and fridge, although the hob outside wasn't working. "This is a lovely place when you can find it. It is not well signed. We had a nice room but not easy to access as in an annex over the roof !! They could not give us dinner as short of staff and a big party. We had a delightful and excellent dinner about 3 Km away."

"Pro: Incredible property and amazing staff. Very welcoming. Con: Bad Wi-Fi service in the bedrooms and hard mattresses. Some unusual quirky elements to be expected in such an old castles, but very charming. Would stay again."

"Kathrine and Patrick were lovely hosts and Patrick is cook extrordinaire! The makeover and additions to a centuries old stone country farm house are magnificent but not pretentious (describes the ambiance of our stay). If by train taxies a more miss than hit...the proprietors generously pick us up and returned us to the Gare' 25 minutes away (and should charge at least 30 euros for the round trip). A setting Forrest and reflection."

"We stayed with our 5 kids (9 - 14 years) in this farm house for 10 days. We had a nice holiday at the large swimming pool as it was 37 degrees. Especially the outside kitchen is well equipped so we spent a lot of time here. Despite that the house was very clean and spacious we missed an airconditioning in the bed rooms. It was very hot. "My husband and I stayed for 3 weeks just enjoying the sun and the silence. Amazingly hot even in September!! The villa is certainly peaceful but all is on hand nearby for everyday living. The fact there was no WiFi (which is not Alains fault) did cause us problems and we wish we had been warned before we left so we could have compensated. "Amazing location and very comfortable, charming and well equipped. We booked last minute and were so happy to find it. Literally there isn't a better location. If younhave a car, 2 parking lots within a couple blocks either way. Be aware that it is on the 3rd floor with no elevator (typical for the older buildings downtown). Will stay again next time we visit Annecy."

"Check was good and quick. The accommodation was up a flight of steps, the place looked like a 1980 time share, just needed tlc, having said that, it had living room/kitchenette, separate bedroom and bathroom. The balcony overlooked the swimming pool and open area, and views of a golf course. Very quiet area. Bed was comfortable and clean, linen and towels were sufficient. No on-site restaurant or shop."
