"We were in the annex across the road - simple small touches like checking our key worked on arrival so we didn’t get locked out or have to go back to reception, amazing breakfast and the happy hour drinks and snacks are a lovely touch. Second stay at this property and it didn’t disappoint- we will return."

"Staff were awesome! Hotel is beautiful. Would stay again. Beds were super comfortable. Best sleep we got in Italy. This resort was a nice break from the city visits. The spa was nice, but the open hours made it difficult to plan days to visit areas like Pisa and Florence and spend time there without missing the spa closing. We did not have breakfast or lunch at the resort but we did have dinner. As someone who is accustomed to fine dining, it was disappointing. Food was under seasoned and lacked depth of flavor. I would definitely stay here again! Just next time venture down the way 5 minutes to a local restaurant. ☺️"

"This was an extremely easy property to find. The location is very close to the old city wall which is a walkable path. The staff was helpful, when we needed some food stored in a refrigerator. The kitchen staff provided a very nice breakfast daily with many options that suited both American and European tastes. Breakfast cappuccinos were delicious each day. "
