"We booked a balcony room, the “balcony” was barely bigger than the size of my foot, not worth the upgrade at all. The room was clean and got cleaned daily. A little sketchy checking in as you need to go through 3 locked doors (unlocked with a key fob) an elevator with a key code, and then a normal key to get into your room. Much, much different than a hotel. With that being said, the staff was super friendly and nice and the owner did give us some really good recommendations for places to eat...

"Very clean room with a modern touch was the perfect spot for 3 of us for one night. Parking was in a private, very secure garage 5 mins from hotel for 10 Euro. Continental breakfast offered lots of choice with barista made coffees to order. Recently renovated. "

"the room in this old style Italian apartment was very large with a bathroom and balcony. Kitchen, coffee, mini breakfast available to guests. the facility is located on the square in a safe area, close to the train station, bus stop, 10 minutes from via Etna. I recommend."

"The reviews are correct..there are 3 flights of stairs to get to the hotel. Once you are up there, it is quite nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. My room had a huge balcony but the thinnest bathroom. Hard to sit down if you know what I mean. Breakfast was fine. Easy walk from the train station. The neneighborhood does not look great but only a few blocks to the town center....beautiful. Catania is a lovely city and Bmode is a good place to stay to explore."
