"We actually walked to the property from the Catania bus station. This location is near bars, sex shop etc. I would it was unsafe but it also didn't feel very safe either because all the bars it's surrounded by. Outside of the property/street isn't super clean but it's Catania and most of the street were dirty. Inside the hotel was clean and super beautiful. The staff was super nice and helpful. "Perfect accommodation, everything clean, fragrant and comfortable. The lady was very nice and helpful, she allowed us to stay earlier, which we very much appreciated with the children. It is within easy walking distance of the centre. "A short walk from the station and bus station. Lovely ancient building tucked away above a row of local shops. Central courtyard a boon for smokers. We'll try and come again. Really friendly helpful shopkeeper next door, open late on a Sunday. Won't provide a gourmet meal, but will keep the wolf from the door and enable a good night's sleep until the cake and coffee breakfast in this accommodation."

But the hosts are nice, the rooms are good and I enjoyed my time there. People need to read reviews and prepare before booking places. "Worst communication ever... Booked two weeks out and got directions when I arrived, which was after midnight due to delayed flights. Took like 30 minutes to get IN! Also, no instructions on parking. Got 3 tickets while there for 2 nights! Very congested area, parking is very poor. NO BEACH close by! "Mom" knocked on our door asking if we were going to breakfast. We're not children.
