"This is the best hotel we have ever been to. It is designed, built, and operated by the owner JC Espinoza, an accomplished architect for his clients. The view is simply phenomenal overlooking volcano Masaya which had a minor eruption on Dec 22, 2024. The hotel also overlooks lake Masaya, an old volcano crater. "Very nice hotel, very clean and affordable. Is in the heart of Catarina, the owners are super nice. Sometimes the receptionist is not in the lobby and the front door is locked, just go to the pharmacy 2 doors down, the owners live there and they will let you in."

"Great place to stay. Love the ambience and the setting. Like staying in a country cabin, but with comfort. The bed was awesome. High quality mattress. Staff was friendly and attentive. Nice pool and the on-site restaurant was very good. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it to my friends. "

"Rude staff except for Ruddy, he was the only person that helped us… front desk is terrible, restaurant closes at 6pm after that you’re on your own! Wouldn’t recommend "

"The staff was extremely helpful and accomodating. Large room, private bath, excellent wifi service, tv. It is located on main highway so there is traffic noise but that did not bother me. It's airconditioned, lovely value. We had several lovely areas in which to meet as well."

"Did no happened the owner said she never received my reservation and had other people stay there for a longer stay. Also mentioned that she didn’t work with Expedia! Had to find another accommodation. Still waiting to get it resolved!!!"
