"Drove by the Oberoi Resort often while staying in Ubud over the past several years and often thought of staying there. This trip I had two reasons to stay there. I wanted to avoid the traffic on the long drive to Uber and I wanted to be near the airport small reasons to stay in a hotel with a great reputation, but they worked wonders for me during this stay Bali has become a traffic nightmare which all but the most blasé visitor will want to avoid. "The Hilton Bali Resort is a wonderful, relaxing place to stay. It is perfect for families and has great pools and a private beach to enjoy. The dining facilities are top quality with lots of options. The breakfast is awesome and my whole family enjoyed it. The rooms are nice and well kept. While the rooms are lovely, some of the wear and tear is visible in the bathroom (eg: repairs to tiles & grout), but this in no way impacts the comfort, quality and cleanliness of the room."

"It was ok, staff were excellent, room was neat & tidy, mattress was very hard which we didn’t like. The pool was ok but a bit weird being so close to reception & the restaurant. Be nice if the roof top section with spa was open past 7pm for drinks at night. "

"All of the Four Seasons we have visited are excellent. But the device and attention to detail here were next level. Our room with a plunge pool and view of Jimbaran bay was excellent We ate at three restaurants and for the first time I'd say the dinner buffet was best. French pastry chef who made magnificent deserts. Fresh fish Balinese style, Tuna sashimi was melti in your mouth. We enjoyed a complimentary cocktail reception where we met other guests and F&B Manager Michel and GM Nicolas....

"When I booked the hotel I had no idea about the pool situation. When we arrived they informed us that the pool will be under reconstruction, it’s a little disappointing. The staff were amazing, the hotel got 3 restaurants, spa, and gym. The Japanese restaurant was clean, and the food was above and beyond."

"I cannot say enough good things. The staff really made our stay. So friendly and welcoming. Especially Wai Yan (sp?) who made delicious happy hour drinks at the poolside bar. I feel like I made a new friend as we had several great discussions! The pool is beautiful and very quiet (we were there in low season - Feb) the breakfast was also incredible and so was room service. There was construction going on for a couple of hours every day which was very noisy at the pool. I wish I had known that...

"The main attraction of the lodge is that it is attached to the Taman Safari Park which showcases an amazing array of indonesian, indian and african wildlife. The journey thru the "safari lands" in special buses is outstanding and the park caters to all ages and I think a must see for any visitor to Bali. Now to the lodge itself. Its a great concept and well executed however long overdue for an update. As an example the suite we stayed in cost NZD$800 per night and and iniitally we were wowed. ...

"This is the most beautiful setting imaginable! The view of the jungle rain Forrest from our room balcony was breathtaking with the sounds of birds, crickets and other wildlife. The art, service, room, were all of the highest quality! Be aware that the pathways between reception and restaurant and room are very steep. The hotel is very happy to take you from place to place via golf carts, though. The nature of this setting is remote, so there is not other restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has a shuttle to town. It is truly a jewel for a remote but luxurious getaway. We will be back and stay longer!"
