"Loved Bloom Cottage, stylish and very spacious with a very well equipped kitchen and comfortable sitting room with view over plunge pool and rocks rising up into surrounding woodland. Peaceful location but hilly! Note it’s not a walk but a steep hike to Pena Palace, allow an additional 20 minutes from the entrance of the Palace if pre booked a timed ticket. Well worth the effort and downhill home!"

We are sad that we did not get to taste Carlos' wines because we were gone long days & nights playing tourist, but they sounded wonderful. "This was a wonderful home base for our stay in Lisbon. Right next to a stadium and a grocery store as well as walkable to the metro. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. Special little touches made us feel great, and they were able to give us breakfast to make up for the pool being closed due to the storms that wrecked the pool covering, not their fault at all but they did what they could to make us happy! Breakfast was great too!"

"The apartment itself was spacious, ( we weren’t expecting it to be two floors!) had good amenities (washer and dryer), and in a great location for proximity to dining, public transportation, sight seeing and attractions. Unfortunately there was a homeless encampment very close to the apartment that we had to walk by every morning and the whole area often smelled like urine. This shouldn’t be held against the property as they have no control over it, but it does detract from the overall...
