"We had a lovely stay at Lockton Cottage, it was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The welcome goodies were a great touch, and we really appreciated the tea, milk etc..after our long journey. We would definitely stay again."

"Love grosmont an Whitby,very scenic,lovely friendly people,our first time visiting.so will definitely come again hopefully get to rent the same property as I'm a creature of habit..lovely comfortable , home away from home perfect get away .."

"Well presented and equipped........very good location..... lovely walk along side of railway track to Whitby and local scenery wonderful......much appreciated the cleanliness and facilities of the apartment which was thou rally appreciated by the 4 of us....5 star !!!!!!!"

"Loved the hot tub and private garden as we had 2 dogs. The walk in the forest was lovely and convenient as on our doorstep. If we were being picky, the road leading to the property was at times quite bumpy, so caution with speed is required, but what the property itself has to offer made up for it. It is a home away from home and a good place to getaway from the hustle of life."

"Lovely apartment but needed a thorough clean. Walking bearfooted floors felt gritty and a little sticky. Wooden cabinets in kitchen and living area full of greasy fingerprints. Duvet had about a two inch bloody looking stain on it, brought it to their attention, it was returned later in the day in same condition. Sorry to complain but it really spoilt what was otherwise a lovely stay. Nice staff."

"Clean, comfortable, convenient, safe. Beautiful and relaxed setting just minutes from remote parking for the bus into York if you're interested. an easy drive to Haxby - which had everything we needed as far a shopping and restaurants. Eggs, milk, bread, butter, juice - all made for a perfect light supper when we arrived after a long day on the road. We were able to do some laundry. Enjoyed bird watching. Just a lovely stay overall and would definitely stay again "

"The property itself was very clean and well situated approximately 2.5 miles from the centre of Scarborough. Check in was easy with a coded key safe. We found the kitchen to be poorly equipped, fortunately we had take a few items ‘just in case’, this could definitely be improved but in no way spoiled our stay! We took a dog with us, the area of the garden with the hot tub is enclosed and secure so he could roam around while we had a soak. All in all a great stay thank you 😊"

"Had a relaxing three night stay in this lovely cottage. Plenty of space and very comfy beds. Nice size bathrooms although unfortunately the shower in the family bathroom was leaking down into the hallway so everyone had to use the ensuite shower. Not ideal but no fault of the owners. Nice and warm and really cosy, even more so with the log fire blazing. family bathroo.the family bathroom "
