A great base to visit Lyme Regis, Sidmouth etc. Beer is a really lovely little village with a few independent shops and restaurants. The voucher for the next door shop was a nice surprise. "the property is as the Vrbo description The beds were so comfortable. just to make people aware the property is not fully enclosed as if you have inquisitive dogs as mine are they can get into the wood at the side of the garden over a muddy stream then onto a road and leading to fields with livestock in. The garden is a wonderful size for doge to run around in and the outside hose is a great edition to wash down your pets as we had to do on many occasions. We were visited by a deer one morning...

"The owners were friendly, and attentive, but the property I felt was too expensive for what it was, there was no shower gel or anything in the bathrooms. There wasn’t a bin bin bag to collect rubbish. There were cobwebs and number of Rooms the black leather sofa was old and worn out and not very comfortable so although the setting was nice it did look like somewhere that the owners were trying to get out of as they told us there were selling up. "We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully restored cottage in Lyme Regis. It was tiny with many stairs but very comfortable. We enjoyed a few afternoons in the beach hut which was very well equipped. The bunk beds are quite small- we have a 6.1ft teenage son! There are also no basic provisions in the cottage- no tea, coffee, sugar, oil, etc which was a shame. I would recommend this cottage to those wanting a central location, access to a beautiful beach hut, and the opportunity to appreciate...
